KING STREET

Picture of KING STREET

King Street is a bustling thoroughfare renowned for its historic charm and eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. From high-end boutiques and antique stores to quaint cafes and vibrant nightlife, King Street invites visitors to immerse themselves in the city's rich culture.

King Street is one of the best places to grab a meal in Charleston. One of the bride and groom's favorite seafood restaurants is the Darling Oyster in Upper King. Hyman's Seafood is a tourist favorite and Church and Union is a unique restaurant housed in a former chapel. For brunch, Miller's All-Day and Bodega are fun, laid back options. For those looking to splurge on dinner at a trendy Michelin-caliber restaurant, opt for the tasting menu at the bride and groom's favorite Charleston restaurant Zero George or - for those willing to wait - the no reservation 167 Raw.

RAINBOW ROW, SOUTH OF BROAD, AND FRENCH QUARTER

Rainbow Row is a charming stretch of pastel-colored historic houses lining East Bay Street, split between the "South of Broad" and "French Quarter" neighborhoods. These meticulously preserved Georgian-style buildings date back to the 18th century and are a picturesque emblem of Charleston's architectural heritage. Visiting Rainbow Row offers a delightful glimpse into the city's history and is a favorite spot to stroll and admire the colorful facades against the backdrop of the Charleston Harbor. Be sure to visit the Pineapple Fountain in the Joe Riley Waterfront Park, where the Matron of Honor, Kaitlyn, and her husband/groomsman, Chris, got engaged!
